Get.these.pants!!!!
I ordered the shred moto jeans after I returned the voyager pants (due to sizing). Oh.my.gosh! The moto jeans are really excellent! Just for reference, I wear a 24 in jcrew, 0 in gap but I ordered the shred moto jeans in 26. They go on like regular jeans. Riding pants are very, very difficult to shop for, as women. Most sizing charts are way off and the fit of most things out there is just wrong. I don’t want a skinny jean fit with wide ankles. I also don’t want to swim in them just by going up a size or squeeze my thighs into them for going a size down, or have a too low or too high rise. Come on! We shouldn’t be getting body complexes over riding gear! I have owned the Go Go Gear leggings which I’m happy to be out of. Their sizing is terrible. My regular size was too tight with the Kevlar lining. It was like wrestling into multiple pairs of sewn together leggings but if you went up a size, they were baggy and looked terrible. They also had Velcro holding your protective gear in place so every time you pull them on or off, it rubs against your thighs. The Shred Moto jeans protective gear are held in place by an “envelope” of fabric which is soft and comfortable. I will say, as of just trying them on last night, it’s just slightly tight on my hip bone but I’m not worried. It will stretch a tad over time. These pants float between bikes. I’ll look fine on these while on a Harley and awesome on my R3. Revival Cycles customer service is awesome as well. I’ve had one of their employees check in on me and I found that helpful. I will order from them again. Just a note, I wish more girls would write reviews on their gear. It’s really helpful to the rest of us to know what’s really working for us instead of wasting time and energy on stuff that we hope works. Please ladies, post your reviews so we can order awesome stuff that work for our figures and get on the road.
