Regular price $499.00It's no secret that Moto Guzzi's our some of our personal favourites but as you know the weakest link in the entire motorcycle is the charging system. So why not upgrade that tired old system and get rid of those charging system issues once and for all!
The Kit includes all the components to replace your under-performing 240w BOSCH charging system. Featuring a Permanent Magnet Rotor which eliminates the brushes and potential rotor failure. The Hi-Output Stator produces significant AC voltage at lower RPM's not possible with the original system.
This standard 4 system comes with a voltage regulator/rectifier that eliminates the two components most vulnerable to failure on the BOSCH charging system, namely the diode board and the voltage regulator. . In addition the kit includes a rotor removal tool, and a new crankshaft oil seal.

- Combination electronic voltage regulator /rectifier housed in finned cast-aluminum housing which mounts remotely for increased cooling and reliability (EDL450-VoltRect). which replaces the diode board and voltage regulator.
- Bolts right on and wires up with a new plug and play harness.

Note: A small percentage of customers report failure of the voltage regulator/rectifier when using dry cell batteries due to the greater internal resistance which can cause components to overheat. We recommend conventional wet acid or sealed AGM batteries. Lithium batteries typically prefer a lower voltage regulation point of 14.1 volts and prefer to have voltage conditioners to eliminate irregularities in the voltage supplied to them.
