Say hello to your new favorite pair of jeans.
Let's be real, how many of choose comfort and style over safety when it comes to riding pants? The unfortunate reality is the majority of us do EVERY DAMN DAY. Well, thanks to the mad geniuses at El-Solitario, we can have both.
El-Solitario's groundbreaking ES-1 Protective Riding Jeans with Dyneema® are designed for those among us who seek superior safety and protection on the motorcycle but would rather not look like an Apollo astronaut on a mission to the moon.

On the outside, they appear to be just a regular, albeit stylish as hell, pair of denim jeans, but the real magic lurks just below the surface. The ES-1 is woven with Dyneema, an abrasion-resisting fabric with a tensile strength rating 15x stronger than that of carbon steel. Due to its strength and protective qualities, Dyneema has been used for years in a myriad of applications including military body armor, climbing gear, and moors for giant ships AND is literally trademarked as "the world's strongest fiber". Seriously.
Despite being tough as nails, the ES-1 riding jeans still look, fit, and feel like a regular old pair of 5 pocket jeans so you can wear them all day, every day until the end of time. Or maybe at least until it's time to give em a wash.
Relaxed fit with its mid-rise and tapered leg. In other words, they fit comfortably at the thigh and taper to a narrower ankle. Take the time and enjoy the process of breaking them in. After 6 months they will tell your story, slowly turning into your second skin.
Now, this we can all abide.
Be kind to your El Solitario Jeans and wash them as little as possible. We recommend NOT washing before six months of hard use to prevent shrinking and fading. When in need for a freshening up, turn them inside out & soak them separately for 30 minutes, in cold water with a mild detergent, gently swirl them to loosen any set-in sediment & line dry. Doing this you will ensure yourself many years of happy use.
