1953 Vincent Rapide Special - Restoration - Revival Cycles
This daily rider Vincent Series "C" Rapide was well restored in the 90's, but needed some 'Reviv-ing' to keep it on the road. After making its way through a number of mechanics, it found a home at Revival were a Ducati clutch was retrofitted, a full re-wire, alternator conversion and modern lighting made the classic bike road friendly again. After a few more miles, more power was needed so a full engine rebuild with Carillo rods, 9:1 pistons, ported heads, MKIII camshafts and 32mm Amal concentric carbs tuned for straight pipes turned this docile cruiser into a fire breathing monster that runs and sounds as good as it looks. Now this 1953 Vincent Rapide is up to snuff.
