BMW Motorrad, as part of their prelaunch campaign for their milestone new motorcycle, the R18, tasked Revival Cycles with building their own motorcycle around the motor and drive train of this striking new model. Only one of two motorcycle design houses globally given the opportunity to create their own vision, Revival set out to build a breathtaking and unique motorcycle. Revival founder, Alan Stulberg, takes us through the genesis and creation of the groundbreaking Revival Birdcage BMW using 100's of individually welding pieces of titanium and almost entirely fabricated of one-off machined and handbuilt parts.

From concept to completion, this motorcycle took only 7 weeks to build with a dedicated crew of 7 working nonstop long days. See it ridden, hear it run and have fun guessing where the gas goes. :)
