Revival Cycles are recruiting for two positions - a Video Editor, and Junior Editor.

The Junior editor will be working under the joint supervision of our Senior Editor and our Head of Media, working on short-form videos and medium and long-form programming documenting the activities of the Revival Cycles team. Tasks will include data management, creating selects rolls, pre-edits, titling, and selected full edits. A working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Audition is required.

Applicants should have data management and editing experience, and have a showreel to demonstrate their skills.

The Video Editor position will work alongside our Senior Editor, and with our Head of Media, working on short-form videos and medium and long-form programming. We document all areas of the Revival Cycles business, from bike building and restoration, leather goods production, to retail and merchandise, brand collaborations, and Revival events such the Handbuilt Show and the Twist Off. We present Tech Talks which educate the audience in the various aspects of bike building. The successful applicant will be responsible for full edits. A high level of proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Audition, and a working knowledge of DaVinci is required.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years experience as an editor, and have a showreel to demonstrate their skills.

Although a passion and/or knowledge for motorcycles is not essential, it would be an advantage for both applicants. A wider interest in automotive mechanics and design would be useful.

Both applicants must be self-motivated and willing to work long hours, with an understanding that the roles are project result-based. Revival Cycles is a small, hardworking team, constantly working under pressure to deliver on deadlines. The successful applicants will need to be flexible in their work practice, as our work in the Media Department is led by the workshop and the design team. A sense of humour and a desire to work within a small, passionate team are essential.
